Art organization VRUM invites designers and student of design to apply for competition in creating new visual identity for VRUM performing arts collective.
Lecture/workshop has two parts, and its purpose is to give designers background for their work in a form of interactive summary during which participants can participate not just as listeners/observers but as active performers of the workshop “Creative communication”. Our goal is to offer a full experience of our artistic work through this inclusive and experience-based workshop so designers could ‘feel’ the substance, and the aesthetics we want to present with our new visual identity.
On this workshop our focus will be centered into the research of communication as a basic element in achieving inovative and safe environment. Contemporary dance uses movement, gesture, touch and gaze as basic elements of communication, which created a lot of tools and plays that are inspiration for the creation of the artistic works.
With this workshop, we would like to achieve a creative zone that is open for dialogue, interpretation, imagination and creation. We would like to inspire new ideas, change perspectives and show things from different angles using nonverbal communication and gesture.
This exercizes are fun and simple. All you need iscomfortable clothing and courage to try something new.
Second part of workshop is lecture, and our guest lecturer will be Vanja Cuculić with presentation on Rebranding of creative industries.
You can apply for workshop and lecture if you are a student of design or a designer and you send us via e-mail your portfolio with your recent work.
We will accept applications that are sent on via e-mail on our address – marketing@vrum.hr, in PDF format (max 5MB), subject:’I will create new VRUM identity_Name_Surname’, while you should name your: Name, Surname, e-mail address and contact number in e-mail body.
Application deadline: 17 March 2017. (untill midnight).
Selected applications will be announced on 20 March 2017., on facebook site.
Workshop/lecture will be held in Klub MaMa / Multimedia Institute, Preradovićeva 18, at 17h.
After the workshop/lecture, designer will have time to work on their concepts and to send their works on our e-mail address – marketing@vrum.hr until 15 April 2017.
Creator of selected work will receive an award of 2.000,00kn.
