Since the 2012, Kotar FEST! has been bringing the art of theatre and movies to the region which was, until then, underrepresented on the cultural and artistic map of Croatia. Gorski kotar region is located at a key transit position of Croatia, with a natural predisposition for the development of tourism. The component of a transportational link and great tourism potential is a prerequisite for the development of cultural and artistic offer.
At the beginning of the summer season, during the four days in late July, visitors can enjoy the interesting and interactive performances, film screenings, workshops and performances and, of course, the inevitable festival parties and concerts.
This year, Kotar FEST! will be held from June 30 to July 3 with a special KLIKER festival happening – two productions for children – “Minimi” and “Baja Buf “.
