KLIKER Workshop Creative dance is a workshop for children, young people and adults, non-dancers and dance amateurs, held by the experienced dancer and educator Ilijana Lončar. Entries will be accepted until May 11, 2016 on the email prostorplus@gmail.com.
Creative expression through movement and dance plays an important role in a child’s life, especially in the development of positive self-image. The awareness of themselves as beings that grow and develop is important for children. In creative dance children themselves are the only source of evaluation, where nothing is “well-correct” or “wrong – incorrect ‘. Teaching creative dance allows us to reach the part of the child’s personality in which we find the authors and creators and not the sole performers. Creative dance will satisfy the needs of everyone who wants to improve their knowledge and skills in previous work.
Through creative dance we clarify:
-how to stimulate the children’s desire and ability to express through movement
-motivatio through movement
-how and in what way to stimulate children’s imagination and creativity in expressing emotions, moods and ideas
-how to use other forms of art (literature, painting …) combined with dance and movement
-how children develop and implement choreography
Choice of music depends on the selection of choreography themes and the age of dancers.
Ilijana Lončar was born in 1973 in Osijek. She is a solo artist and since 1997 a member of the Croatian Freelance Artists Assosiation as a professional contemporary dancer. She was specializing at the Alvin Ailey Dance School – New York (USA), Vlaamse Dance Academy-Brugge (Belgium), Arena Dance Theater -Amsterdam (Netherlands) and the aerobic convention in Essen (Germany), and a number of Croatian dance seminars. In 2000 she founded the Ilijana Lončar’s Dance Workshop in Požega, which brings together more than one hundred and fifty dancers of preschool, school and secondary school age. She works with the City Theatre Požega as an actress, dancer and choreographer in productions: “Peter Pan,” “The Wizard of Oz,” “Blue colour of snow or show at court jester,” “Pinocchio,” “Pippi Longstocking,” “In the world of fairy tales “, “Puss in boots “,” Gift from the Little Match girl “,” Abduction”, ” the happy Prince “and “Let’s get Melita to play “. As a choreographer she has collaborated with other Croatian theaters on a variety of projects: She has won the Golden “Žar ptica” for stage movement for the performance “Wizard of Oz” by the City Theatre Požega on “Naj, naj, naj – festival” in 2001 in Zagreb, the Golden “Žar ptica” for stage movement and choreography of “Blue colour of snow or show at court jester” by the City Theatre Pozega on “Naj, naj, naj – festival” in 2002. in Zagreb. She is initiator and organizer of two unique projects in Požega and the county: the project of the International Dance Day and Požega “Plesokaz” which gathers more than 400 amateur dancers from 21 Croatian city and from abroad. She is teaching creative dance workshops for dancers, dance groups leaders, educators and teachers.

Molekula – Alliance of associations manages the premises of Filodrammatica, Margan and Palach.

Application of the contents of creative dance or dance education is based on the learnings of Rudolf Laban which were methodically developed by Ana Maletić with the aim of educational activity on the overall development, balance and personality of the child.
The selected program content is a result of a basic theme of Laban’s creative – educational dance which encourages: kinesthetic sensibility, body motor skills, a creative approach to movement and body, aesthetic sense, concentration, observation, memory, self-discipline, tolerance, cooperation movement, blend of music and dance.
We will raise awareness of the methodical process of work on sequences and choreography:
– improvisation
– dramatization
– creating short dance sketches (sequences)
– choreographic design in a whole
– training
By encouraging greater creative freedom of movement we will work to release the fear of improvisation and devising new individual ways of movement.
Improvisation part of the workshop begins with a gentle “relaxation” in the creative sense, questioning whether there is “good” or “bad” in the individual creation, and we’ll end up with raising awareness of group instant compositions.
The idea of the workshop is to make as a space to explore possibilities of the body in terms of emotional freedom by using structured improvisation.
