Petra Glad

After finishing education at 8th Gymnasium in Zagreb, she enrolls in Faculty of Textile Technology, Department of design and engineering, and subsequently Academy of Dramatic Art in Zagreb , BA program of Department of Production (film & theatre) and MA program of Department of Production (performing arts). Professionaly, she has been involved in production of various performing arts projects mainly within the independent culture sector in Croatia from 2006; as a freelancer she has been collaborating with Croatian directors such as M. Kurspahić, D. Harjaček, R. Žulj, H. Petković, R. Carola Gatica. In theatre season 2008/2009 she has been working as operative producer in &TD theatre (Student Centre in Zagreb, Department of Culture of Change), from 2009. in collaboration with Croatian dramaturgs (J.Žmak, G.Ferčec) she develops a biannual program of Dramaturgical Studio & Little night readings. Since 2012. together with dramaturg V.Klepica she is artistic co-director of KUFER. Her professional connection to contemporary dance started in 2007. Being an assistant producer at Dance & Non-Verbal Theatre Festival San Vincenti. From 2009. She started to work as asst.producet for Zagreb Dance Company, organizer of the mentioned festival. In 2011. she becomes executive producer of Zagreb Dance Company and its projects, including the newly established Mediterranean Dance Center. From 2014. she is the director of Zagreb Dance Company where she continues to develop the mentioned projects.
